THIS IS AN AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETED PERFORMANCE.
About ASL Interpreted Performances
American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreted Performances are enhanced performances for the deaf and hard of hearing community to support their needs while at Theatre Calgary. These performances will have the added support of two ASL interpreters, translating the show for those patrons who otherwise would be unable to understand the dialogue on stage. The interpreters will be located on the audience level in front of the stage, on the far right side of audience and will be slightly lit throughout the performance. No alterations are made to the performance on stage.
PLEASE NOTE: The Purple and Brown seats in the Orchestra section are closest to the interpreters and will have the best line of sight for our deaf or hard of hearing patrons.
PLEASE NOTE: Seats in Rows AA and BB in the Orchestra Level are On Stage Seats and are General Admission. These seats are NOT RECOMMENDED to any one with mobility challenges as there are stairs to the different levels. For more information, please read details on our Iceland show page.
